World Championship working dogs FCI moved to 8-12 September 2021
The Working Dogs Committee of the Netherlands – part of the our national Kennel Club – has decided not to allow the Working Dogs World Championships in Apeldoorn to go ahead due to the corona crisis. The event, which was planned from 9 to 13 September, will be moved to 8 to 12 September 2021. The same locations will then be made available to us.
The corona epidemic is still taking on greater proportions: in the world and also within the Netherlands, the crisis is not yet over. There is still much uncertainty about the further course of the pandemic. For this reason, and taking into account all health risks for (international) visitors, participants, exhibitors and employees, the steering committee has decided to take its responsibility, respond adequately and move the FCI 2020 World Cup – with thanks to sponsors, founders and volunteers – to next year.
The board is looking forward to a sportive and successful World Championships Working Dogs in 2021 and hopes to welcome many visitors and participants to a promising event.
Soon you will be able to find more information about the new planning for 2021 on our renewed website, www.fci2020.nl.
